Résumé Dan Bryan is currently the President of the Hobbs Soaring Society and a Non-Profit Program Director. He has a Master's Degree in Non-Profit Organizational Management which was obtained from Michigan State University in 1986. He moved from Michigan to New Mexico in 1995. Having obtained his soaring pilot's license in the early 1990's he has flow the Schweizer 1-26 exclusively.
This book is about rebuilding and flying a sailplane that is deeply rooted in the history of American soaring. Simple and safe to fly, the Schweizer 1-26 is the source of many pleasant and unforgettable memories, not only for the author, the members of the 1-26 Association but to a higher percentage of newly licensed soaring pilots.
